There are few basic investigations which the couple needs to undergo for the evaluation of infertility .

MALE INFERTILITY

• CBC , ESR
• Urine routine
• VDRL, HIV, HbsAg, HCV
• FSH, LH, TSH, Testosterone, Prolactin
• Blood Sugar Fasting/ P.G.
• Semen Routine
• Semen culture and Antibiotic sensitivity

FEMALE INFERTILITY

• CBC, E.S.R.,
• Blood Sugar : Fasting / Post glucose
• Blood Group & Rh
• VDRL / HbsAG / HIV/HCV
• Free T3 / FreeT4 / TSH / Prolactin
• Haemoglobin electrophoresis/ Rubella IgG
• FSH, E2, LH, AMH—on Day 3 of periods
• Hysteroscopy / Hysterosalpingography
• Basal Ultrasound.
